Supply Planner

Our extensive and attractive range of environmentally friendly linoleum, high-quality vinyl flooring, entrance flooring systems for cleaning and drying shoes, carpet tiles, needlefelt floor coverings and Flotex – the washable textile flooring – as well as building and construction adhesives plays a key role in shaping how people experience an environment.
We focus on environmentally friendly, functional and design-oriented floors, and work with all types of commercial businesses including hospitals, universities, K-12 schools, government agencies and military bases, and multi-unit residential housing.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute material procurement to meet customer demand
- Maintain appropriate stock levels that minimize overstock/out of stock scenarios
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Finance to optimize inventory, improve availability, shorten lead times, and reduce costs
- Resolve escalated availability issues with suppliers as required by customer demand
- Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to the supply planning process
- Provide fact-based analytics to drive continuous process improvement throughout the organization
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of prior purchasing or inventory management experience in a fast-paced, customer centric environment
- Working knowledge of international logistics
- Strong sense of urgency
- Solid communication and collaboration skills
- Excellent math and analytical skills
- Team player with professional attitude
- Knowledge of MRP/inventory management systems (SAP preferred)
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
