AUTONET Auto Sales Recon Shop is a family-owned business of nearly 30 years and as a result of continued growth and high customer demand, AUTONET's recon shop in Bessemer, AL is now seeking experienced Automotive Technicians/Mechanics for our service team!
We Offer:
- SALARY from $900/wk to $1,200/wk (salary based on exp/skills)
- Earn from $46,800/yr to $62,400/yr (based on exp/skills)
- 5 Day Work Week! NO WEEKENDS! NO NIGHTS! Mon-Fri from 8am-5pm (_ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION _for Saturdays during Tax Return Selling Season. Usually between mid February to the end of March/mid April)

What We Seek:
- 3-5+ Years Experience as an Automotive Mechanic/Technician (master, A, B level skills/exp)
- Professional experience in an auto reconditioning shop, aftermarket or secondary repair shop, independent dealer, or franchise dealer service department
- Familiarity with Most Vehicle Makes & Models
- Good Diagnostic Skills and willing to TURN WRENCHES (Time Spent: 50% Diag 50% Wrenching)
- Experience with Engine and Transmission R&R
- Experience with Front End Suspension Diagnostics
- Experience with Check Engine Light Diagnostics and Scanner Codes
- Prior RECONDITIONING Experience is a PLUS
- Basic Service Repairs and Maintenance Experience
- Partial Engine and Transmission Rebuild Experience is a PLUS
- Any ASE Certifications are Preferred (Valid or Expired)
- Any Manufacturer Certifications are a PLUS (Valid or Expired)
- Must be Reliable, Punctual, and Motivated
- Good Time Management Skills with Ability to Multi-Task
- Customer service oriented, friendly demeanor
- Must have Own Tools
