Job Title: Bartender – Farm Distillery Tasting Room (Part-Time)
Location: Pine Bush, NY
Position Type: Part-Time (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
Compensation: $12/hour + tips + commission on bottle sales
Start Date: Tentative start July 17
About the Role
We are seeking bartenders to join our farm distillery tasting room and cocktail bar team. This role is focused on delivering a high-quality guest experience through strong product knowledge, cocktail execution, and storytelling around our spirits and brand.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cocktails using house-made spirits
- Execute classic cocktails with precision and consistency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient bar environment
- Engage with guests and provide knowledgeable recommendations
- Learn and communicate the distillery’s story, production methods, and product details
- Support retail bottle sales and customer education
Qualifications
- Knowledge of classic cocktails and advanced bartending techniques (clarification, foams, infusions, house made syrups, etc)
- Ability to learn and clearly communicate brand and product information
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience preferred, but not required (training available)
Schedule
- Part-time: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
- Weekend availability required
