Job Summary- The Business Development Associate is responsible for driving strategic business-to-business partnerships by delivering customized workforce development solutions to enterprise clients across the technical and telecommunications industries. This role focuses on cultivating long-term employer relationships, identifying organizational workforce needs, and aligning tailored talent pipeline solutions that support client hiring, operational, and growth objectives.
The Business Development Associate serves as a consultative partner to employer accounts, providing white-glove relationship management and coordinating customized service offerings that enhance workforce readiness, talent acquisition, retention, and organizational performance. This position operates with a strong emphasis on enterprise sales development, client engagement, solution-based selling, and strategic account expansion.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with enterprise employers, workforce stakeholders, and industry partners to expand business opportunities and long-term account growth.
- Conduct consultative outreach to identify client workforce challenges, hiring initiatives, operational gaps, and talent acquisition priorities.
- Present and position customized workforce solutions tailored to each client’s organizational structure, staffing demands, compliance needs, and operational objectives.
- Collaborate with internal departments to design and coordinate scalable workforce development initiatives, hiring pipelines, onboarding support, upskilling pathways, and retention-focused programs.
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for employer accounts, ensuring high-touch communication, responsiveness, and ongoing client satisfaction.
- Coordinate and facilitate enterprise engagement activities including executive meetings, workforce strategy discussions, hiring events, industry presentations, recruiting partnerships, and operational alignment sessions.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospective employer partners through networking, outbound business development, referrals, and strategic market engagement.
- Identify opportunities to expand service offerings within existing accounts through customized solutions, workforce program enhancements, and strategic partnership growth initiatives.
- Work cross-functionally with operations, education, project management, and leadership teams to ensure client deliverables align with contractual expectations and workforce objectives.
- Maintain detailed CRM documentation related to account activity, partnership development, pipeline progression, client communications, and sales engagement efforts within HubSpot.
- Track and report key business development metrics including account growth, partnership retention, client engagement activity, placement outcomes, and workforce initiative performance.
- Support organizational growth initiatives by contributing to strategic planning efforts, market expansion opportunities, and enterprise partnership development strategies.
- Represent the organization professionally in industry events, networking engagements, employer meetings, and workforce development initiatives to strengthen brand presence and market positioning.
Requirements
- Proven experience in B2B sales, technology sales, or inside sales roles with a focus on enterprise clients.
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities in English.
- Familiarity with CRM software like Salesforce or similar platforms for managing customer relationships.
- Experience in telemarketing, outbound calling, and warm calling techniques to generate new business opportunities.
- Knowledge of sales processes related to technical products or services, including technical sales strategies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
- Position requires working indoors and sitting for long periods.
- Must be able to interface with a computer, including call headset, for several hours daily.
- Must be able to work in a setting with frequently high and consistent volume level.

Technical Skills:
- Comfortable with extended phone conversations and able to learn company call platform: AirCall, Hubspot, Milanote, Monday
- Familiarity with Office Suite Software; Word, Excel, Outlook
- Preferred - Familiarity with business organizational platforms including Microsoft Teams, HubSpot, Monday
- Preferred - Associate’s or Bachelors’ degree; Ideal - Psychology, Marketing, or Business-related specialty.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
