The State Plaza Hotel has an excellent opportunity for a qualified General Maintenance Shift Engineer. This position is responsible for maintaining the general condition of the property with regards to all aspects of basic electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting and mechanical work.
Responsibilities Include:
· Complete work order request forms on a daily and timely basis.
· Respond to and handle guest requests in a courteous, efficient, safe manner.
· Perform preventive maintenance and necessary repairs, including kitchen, laundry, plumbing, HVAC, and guest rooms.
· Make rounds of the hotel property to ensure everything is in working order.
· Clean and maintain all equipment and work areas.
· Report any unsafe conditions to leadership.
Candidates must be willing to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays. Two years of relevant experience is preferred.
