Are you a physician who thrives in collaborative, community-centered care? A dynamic nonprofit health center in Huntsville, Alabama is seeking a experienced BC or BE Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join its dedicated outpatient team.
This full-time, outpatient-only role is ideal for a physician who values relationship-based medicine and enjoys working in a collaborative, mission-oriented environment. You’ll provide primary care to a diverse adolescent and adult patient population.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
- No weekend responsibilities
- Minimal call (1-in-6 rotation)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full-spectrum outpatient primary care to patients age 14 and older
- Diagnose and manage chronic conditions, acute illnesses, and preventive needs
- Serve as collaborating physician for nurse practitioners
- Review diagnostic tests, labs, and specialty consults in a timely manner
- Accurately document all visits and care plans using the EMR system
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team-based case management
- Promote equitable, inclusive, and patient-centered care delivery
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive base salary: $250,000–$300,000, based on experience
- Quarterly quality incentive bonuses
