Barista - Momo's Coffeehouse

About Us: Momo's Coffeehouse is a unique Mediterranean-themed coffee shop serving specialty drinks, house-made syrups, fresh food, and mocktails in a welcoming atmosphere.
Position Overview: We're looking for an energetic, customer-focused barista to join our team. You'll craft quality espresso drinks, prepare food items, and create memorable experiences for our regulars and new customers alike.
Schedule:
- Part-time or Full-time positions available
- Weekend availability
Responsibilities:
- Prepare espresso-based drinks, specialty lattes, and signature beverages
- Use and maintain espresso equipment and other coffee-making tools
- Prepare and serve food menu items
- Mix and serve mocktails during evening hours
- Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly, welcoming attitude
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Follow food safety and health department guidelines
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately
- Work efficiently as part of a team
Requirements:
- Previous barista or food service experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Food handler's certification (or willingness to obtain)
