RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedule and conduct neutral, fact-finding, developmentally appropriate investigative
interviews of child victims.
• Ensure recording of each forensic interview conducted at Child Protect. • Maintain accurate and
up to date records and paperwork on all forensic interviews conducted at Child Protect.
- Consult with MDIT members before and after interviews and coordinate case specific
information sharing among the MDIT.
• Attend and testify in court proceedings as necessary. • Obtain Forensic Interviewer certification
and attend trainings as required by the agency.
- Maintain client confidentiality.
- Follow agency policies and procedures.
- Ensure the maintenance of case tracking logs, client case notes and MDIT meeting notes.
• Ensure collaboration with other agencies to enhance service delivery to child victims. •
Attend all MDIT meetings and MDT meetings when requested.
- Ensure the entry and updating of case tracking data entry information.
- Attend additional community meetings as assigned by the Executive Director or the Direct
Service Manager.
- Assist with the agency’s child abuse prevention education campaigns when necessary.
- Maintain statistical data for all services provided at Child Protect.
- Conduct public speaking engagements as assigned by the Executive Director or the Direct
Service Manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
