- Work across sauté, grill, and oven stations, with a primary focus on sauté execution.
- Handle and prepare specialty proteins including venison, bison, and other specialty ingredients.
- Produce traditional sauces from scratch, including stocks, reductions, emulsifications, and other classical preparations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked station throughout prep and service.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, storage, labeling, and temperature-control standards.
- Support private dining and event execution, including large-format plating and banquet-style service.
- Assist with menu development and preparation as directed by culinary leadership.
- Monitor station inventory and communicate product and prep needs to the culinary team.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain timing, consistency, and quality throughout service.
Qualifications
- Previous professional line-cook experience preferred.
- Strong knife skills and working knowledge of multiple cooking methods required.
- Experience with — or an eagerness to learn — specialty-protein fabrication and classical sauce work.
- Ability to work with precision and composure in a high-volume, high-expectation kitchen.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to communicate effectively as part of a culinary team.
- A genuine passion for food, hospitality, and continued professional growth.
