FAI Quality Technician
Responsibilies:
· Inspection & Testing: Perform dimensional, functional, and visual inspections on machined components, assemblies. Extensive attention to detail and high integrity.
· Documentation Review: AS9102 FAI’s, First Piece, In-process, and Final Inspection forms.
· Quality Compliance: Utilize AS9100, ISO 9001, and engineering drawings to ensure parts meet specifications.
· Tool Usage: Operate precision measuring instruments, Operate and Program Manual Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), various hand tools, micrometers, calipers, Height Gage, Surface Plate Inspection, Optical Comparator.
· Defect Documentation: Identify, record, and report non-conformances (deviations).
Requirements:
· Experience: 1-5+ years of quality inspection experience in aerospace manufacturing.
· Technical Skills: Proficiency in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and blueprint reading. Manual CMM set up and operation.
· Education: High school diploma, often accompanied by technical certification or relevant experience.
Pay: $25.01 - $30.12 per hour
