Central Pump Company, located in Center, CO is seeking a motivated Electrical Apprentice to join our dynamic team. You will play a key part in the installation and repair of electrical systems for irrigation projects. Responsibilities
- Lead the installation and repair of electrical systems related to irrigation pivot systems, pump and motor circuits.
- Set up and troubleshoot Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
- Assist with the installation and troubleshooting of solar panels and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) (experience is a plus).
- Ensure all systems are installed to a high standard and comply with current NEC and local codes.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues as they arise.
- Perform additional tasks as requested by leadership.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 1 year of electrical experience, Preferred
- Valid Electrician license or certification, Preferred
- Experience with electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Ability to read and interpret one-line drawings and electrical schematics.
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic.
- Must abide by PPE rules and regulations.
- Must pass a drug screening.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Reliable and able to maintain a consistent work schedule.
- Willing to train the right candidate with some electrical knowledge
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Schedule: 5-day work week, with overtime required during April–August.
