Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Dance Instructor to inspire students of all ages and skill levels through engaging dance education. In this role, you will develop creative curricula, lead energetic classes, and foster a positive environment that encourages growth, confidence, and a love for dance.
Duties
- Design and implement comprehensive dance curricula tailored to different age groups and skill levels, for ballet and hip hop classes for children
- Lead lively, motivating dance classes that promote proper technique, rhythm, coordination, and expression
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
- Plan special performances or showcases to celebrate student achievements and foster community engagement
Qualifications
- Proven experience in teaching dance styles such as ballet and hip hop with classroom management skills
- Strong background in curriculum development and lesson planning for diverse age groups including early childhood education and preschool experience
- Familiarity with working with children, special education needs, or behavior management strategies
- Knowledge of childhood development principles relevant to early learners and preschoolers
