Job Overview:
We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join our team and support the daily leasing operations of our residential communities. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and committed to providing exceptional service to prospective and current residents.
Leasing Consultant
- Promote and market available units using approved
- Generate leads by engaging proactively within the community.
- Greet prospective tenants, respond to inquiries, enter all guest cards into AppFolio, and complete follow-up communication.
- Conduct property tours and answer questions with strong knowledge of the community and amenities.
- Process rental applications within 24–48 hours, including background, credit, and rental history checks.
- Assist with lease preparation and lease renewals.
- Maintain accurate administrative files and documentation.
- Coordinate move-ins by inspecting units prior to arrival and collecting move-in forms within 72 hours.
- Support resident retention through positive interactions and customer service.
- Manage move-outs by accepting notices, collecting keys, and communicating with the Property Manager to begin processing.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in property management (preferred)
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and ability to apply them in daily operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with tenants, colleagues, and vendors
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary
