Job summary
Performs a range of basic office support activities, such as printing tickets, answering phones, greeting customers/directing visitors, answering questions and performing routine data entry, and/or word/excel processing work as assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Answer telephones, direct calls, take messages, and provide general information; greet and direct customers.
2. Distribute correspondence and other material to coworkers.
3. Perform a variety of routine assignments as appropriate to the position; may operate a personal computer to draft basic correspondence, enter data, and print letters, tickets, labels, reports, and/or other materials. .
4. Copies and/or duplicates materials as required/requested.
5. Establish, maintain, process, and/or update files, records, and/or other documents.
6. May assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, as appropriate to the position.
7. May order, stock, and distribute office supplies.
8. May run various routine errands.
9. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
10. Dependable and available to work overtime if needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
· Records maintenance skills.
· Basic math skills
· Ability to maintain calendars and schedule appointments.
· Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
· Ability to prepare and print routine correspondence, labels, and/or other basic written material.
· Word processing and/or data entry skills.
· Ability to use Microsoft Excel
· Skill in the use of operating basic office equipment.
· Receptionist skills.
