The Outreach Education Coordinator plays a key role in operationalizing NYCAMH's outreach strategy by coordinating programs, managing logistics, and ensuring timely communication and data tracking across multiple initiatives. This position works closely with the Outreach/Education Supervisor, the education core team, and other programs coordinators to support program delivery, improve efficiency, and contribute to program growth. This position reports directly to the Outreach/Education Supervisor. Additional duties may include driving Bassett's vehicles (van/autos) as needed.
Essential Job Functions

Program coordination and support include, but is not limited to education, outreach, Chainsaw Safety, PPE, and Fit Testing.

Collaborate closely with the Outreach/Education Supervisor to support all outreach and education initiatives and implement program priorities.

Plan, organize, and staff outreach and education events and activities.
-
Manage, document and respond to incoming outreach and education requests received via the main NYCAMH phone line and designated email accounts (including info@nycamh and northeastcenter@bassett).

Coordinate staffing assignments to maximize efficient use of NYCAMH staff and contract resources while minimizing travel demands and staff overtime.

Ensure all event-related logistics are completed, including securing required insurance documentation, arranging lodging, coordinating transportation, and communicating with external vendors and event planners

Program Support and Development
-
Assist the Outreach/Education Supervisor in developing agendas and scheduling monthly Outreach and Education Core (Ed Core) meetings.

Participate in regular meetings with the Outreach/Education Supervisor to review activities, review and store meeting notes and support planning for program growth and improvement.

Collaborate with the Supervisor to identify opportunities for program enhancement and expansion. As well as document, follow-up tasks and timelines to ensure identified improvements are implemented.

Data Management and Reporting

Ensure all contractor and outreach activities as well as required documentation (e.g., training rosters, intake forms) are accurately completed, entered and maintained in Salesforce.

Work with other program coordinators to develop protocols and to ensure data collection follows established protocols and that all required documentation is processed in a timely manner.

Chainsaw Safety Program Coordination

Coordinate and support implementation of Chainsaw Safety Workshops, including:
-
Promoting the program to farmers and partner organizations
-
Scheduling events and maintaining records in Salesforce
-
Ensuring participant rosters are collected and documented
-
Supporting program development and content refinement
-
Preparing and distributing participant materials and handouts
-
Assisting with development of program evaluations
-
Ensuring evaluation data is accurately entered into the appropriate database

Program Support – PPE and Fit Testing
-
Work collaboratively with the Fit Testing Coordinator to ensure data collection, documentation, and processing are completed in accordance with established protocols.

Collaborate with the PPE Program Coordinator to ensure proper data collection and timely processing of program documentation.

Provide backup support for PPE program activities as needed.

Serve as backup for the Fit Testing Program to ensure continuity of operations when the primary coordinator is unavailable.

Serve as a liaison between the Outreach and Education Core team and program coordinators to ensure alignment of outreach, PPE, and fit testing activities.

Education:

2 Year / associate degree in agriculture or business or relevant field, required. In exceptional cases, a lesser degree and/or work experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

4 Year / bachelor's degree in relevant field, preferred. Experience may be considered in lieu of education.
Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience with program coordination, preferred
- Experience working in agricultural health and safety research or education, preferred
Licensure:
