SUMMARY:
The Supervisor will assist in helping the team members adhere to standards of service in Descend Restaurant, Golf House Cafe and Hill House Cafe. They will assist in supporting with the training, retention and adherence to service and quality standards of all staff to ensure excellent service. The Server Lead will be responsible for primary one-on-one floor staff training to maintain high guest satisfaction to drive positive comments and return visits. This position works closely with the Food & Beverage Manager and Assistant Manager to ensure standards are followed to ensure success of the operation.

The Server Lead shall strive to always provide exceptional service to both internal/external guests and team members. A qualified applicant is a “people person” who is flexible with their schedule, loves to serve others, and knows how to multi-task while ensuring accuracy. They will be responsible for exemplifying our culture as well as promoting us as both the Destination and Employer of Choice!
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Utilize the Freedom To Go Beyond to resolve guest issues promptly and with great care
- Work in conjunction with the F&B Manager and Assistant Manager to ensure outstanding service to our members.
- Assist with the development, training and inspiration of outlet staff
- Participate in daily pre-shift and monthly departmental meetings;
- Comply with all Liquor and Labor regulations;
- Responsible for reinforcement of department and company standards through training including all policies, procedures and safety regulations.
- Actively participate in staff service training.
- Responsible for understanding of, and staff training, on the POS system.
- Responsible for the correct administration and supervision of restaurant reservations.
- Responsible for the proper use of supplies, materials, and equipment;
- Attends all required meetings.
- Imbue an atmosphere of professional friendliness and be a representative of Tumble Creek to the public.
- Maintains a commitment to customer service and guest satisfaction.
- Assists with providing leadership to all Food and Beverage Outlets.
- Responsible for the service standards of the outlets
- Monitors member feedback and communicate this to management.
- Provides prompt follow-up to all guest concerns
- Touches tables in all outlets to strengthen guest relations
- Maintains a safe and pleasant work environment
- Assists in managing storage.
- Supports and ensure constant cleanliness standards.
- Communicates team member challenges and suggested needs for improving to management.
- Resolves guest issues promptly and with great care and effectiveness
- Offers warm and sincere welcome/farewell for all members of the Club including use of member names & good eye contact with each guest
- Maintains an up-to-date working knowledge of all property amenities as well as any special events
- Interacts with all staff in a professional manner, assists all other departments when necessary.
- Always maintain a professional demeanor and attitude. Is always positive and keeps cool under pressure.
- Communicates all pertinent information to the outlets team
- Maintains constant awareness of safety issues, (i.e. broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks and suspicious persons). Reports all safety incidents to Maintenance and Management.
- Ensures proper handling, cleaning and sanitation of equipment, china, glass and silver.
- Follows through on lost and found procedures.
- Maintains a professional appearance. Follows all dress code standards
- Remains alert, courteous and helpful to the Club member and team members at all times.
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Remain alert and maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of all resort amenities, events, hours of operations etc. by daily review of the Event orders, Club Newsletter, email and other communication tools.
- Team members must communicate any workplace accident/incident to a leader within 24 hours of the event.
- Follows the required procedures for handling, cleaning, disposing, or moving of objects/materials and/or the cleanup of blood, infectious materials, or body fluids containing blood in accordance with the OSHA Blood-borne Pathogen Standards. Team members not properly trained in the removal of Blood-borne Pathogens should immediately report the need to clean up their department leadership and schedule training for future incidents;
- Acts with responsibility towards all company property, supplies and equipment;
- Maintains a professional appearance by following all standards with regard to Dress/Uniform Code, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Hygiene, Grooming and nametag requirements.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
- Ability to work well with others and function well in fast paced environment.
- Prior knowledge of food, beverage, dining room etiquette and service requirements.
- Computer literate.
- High school education preferred;
- Knowledge of wine and wine service;
- Have patience and maturity
- Must possess strong communication and organizational abilities.

- Must be excellence oriented.
JOB REQUIRMENTS:
- Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit;
- Must be 21 years of age or older;
- Must obtain a Class 12 Mixologist permit within 90 days of beginning employment;
- Current Food Handler’s permit or ability to obtain one within 2 weeks of employment;
- Must be able to read, write and speak English;
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that will include evenings, weekends and holidays.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Ability to stand for entire shift if necessary;
- Ability to encounter harsh chemicals with proper safety gear;
- Must be able to personally lift up to 40 lbs on a frequent basis;
- Must be able to occasionally lift over 40 lbs with assistance;
- Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, walk on uneven surfaces and reach on a continuous basis.
