We're looking for an experienced, seasoned ABA professional to take on a high-impact caseload in a full-time, school-based role in Athens, Alabama. This role calls for someone who has already led teams, written and adjusted behavior and skill-acquisition plans, and knows how to build strong working relationships with school staff — someone who can walk into a classroom, read the room, and lead with confidence and warmth.
You'll work under the clinical direction of a supervising BCBA, but you'll operate with real autonomy: supervising Behavior Technicians (BTs), contributing directly to programming decisions, and serving as the day-to-day clinical anchor for your caseload. This is a role for someone who brings both strong technical skill and a genuinely positive, steady presence — the kind of person who keeps a room calm and a team motivated even on hard days.
-
Serve as the lead clinical presence for your caseload, writing, adjusting, and overseeing implementation of individualized programming under BCBA supervision
-
Supervise, train, and provide ongoing feedback to Behavior Technicians (BTs) supporting your caseload
-
Design and refine skill-acquisition and behavior support plans in partnership with your supervising BCBA
-
Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with teachers, administrators, and school-based teams
-
Oversee data collection, progress monitoring, and graphical reporting tied to IEP goals
-
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute directly to student planning and outcomes
-
Maintain clear, professional communication with families, school staff, and CAS leadership
Implementation Fidelity: instructional and behavior plans implemented with
- 80% fidelity, as measured by supervisor evaluations and implementation checklists
-
Staff Development: BTs receive documented training and feedback monthly, with measurable improvement in implementation fidelity
-
Student Outcomes: measurable progress toward IEP goals, based on CAS data tracking systems
-
Documentation & Compliance: 100% of assigned documentation, plans, and training logs completed accurately and on time
Education: Master's degree in behavior analysis, education, psychology, or related field required, OR active BCaBA certification
Experience: Significant prior experience in ABA service delivery, including experience supervising or managing staff and independently writing or revising behavior and skill-acquisition plans
Setting: Prior experience in a school-based or comparable structured setting strongly preferred
Approach: A positive, steady, can-do attitude — someone who leads by example and brings calm confidence to complex situations
Skills: Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills; comfortable working closely and collaboratively with school staff
Logistics: Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required
