CDL Truck Driver - Local Concrete & Asphalt Crews | Earn $32–$42/hr. + OT
Home Every Night. Room to Move Up.
Local CDL driving plus hands-on crew work with a growing Fox Valley pavement company — no OTR, ever. Your pay grows with your CDL class, experience, and the skills you build on the job, with a clear path into finishing, equipment operation, and higher wages.
Main Executive runs concrete, asphalt, and pavement crews across the Fox Valley. In this role you'll drive our trucks to haul materials and equipment and work hands-on alongside the crew. This is a working construction position — not a driving-only seat.
We hire dependable people who show up prepared, work safely, and take pride in the finished product. Prior concrete or asphalt experience helps, but if you show up, work safe, and want to learn, we'll train the right person.
Work Safe. Work Smart. Work Hard.
What You'll Do
- Drive company trucks (Class A or B) hauling concrete, asphalt, aggregate, materials, and equipment between jobsites, plants, and yards
- Perform hands-on concrete labor — placing, spreading, screeding, and helping finish curbs, sidewalks, slabs, and pads
- Perform hands-on asphalt labor — shoveling, raking, luting, and handwork around edges, joints, and obstacles
- Set, align, and strip forms to line and grade; help set string line and grade
- Prep and clean subgrade and base before placement; support rolling and compaction
- Secure and tarp loads, verify weights, and stay within legal load limits
- Operate skid steers, rollers, and small equipment as assigned and qualified
- Run daily pre- and post-trip inspections and basic equipment upkeep
- Keep DOT logs, inspection reports, and delivery tickets accurate
- Work safely around traffic, utilities, wet concrete, and hot asphalt, following DOT, OSHA, and MUTCD standards
