Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic components. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
SUMMARY
The Injection Molding Machine Operator will create soft baits according to customer specification.

None
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Starts up and shuts down production machines.
- Changes molds and colors on production machines.
- Checks and repairs any broken or worn parts on production machines.
- Performs preventative maintenance of machines and other equipment throughout the facility.
- Compare samples to bait coming off machine to make sure that color, texture, flake, and shape are correct.
- Follows safety procedures in work area and when making repairs.
- Ensures work area is kept clean.
- Follows all Standard Operating Procedures for the department.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Working knowledge of tools and equipment needed to repair injection molding machines and facilities maintenance.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot basic mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment issues and escalate more complex repairs to the appropriate technical resource.
- Reliable and able to work the required schedule.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Basic abilities in math, reading and writing.
- Team-oriented and works well with others.
- Good communication skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience in manufacturing, machine setup, equipment operation, mechanical work, or a related technical environment preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, or kneel.
- Ability to be on stand for an extended period of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Must have manual dexterity.
- Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to distinguish between different colors, textures, and shapes.
