Job Summary:
As a Logistics Coordinator & Dispatcher, you will be the backbone of our daily operations. This role is a mix of customer service, administrative data entry, and driver coordination. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can pivot quickly, and doesn't need to be micromanaged.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driver Management & Dispatch: Answer driver calls, provide clear routing and dispatch information, and support them through their daily schedules.
- Customer Service: Professionally handle incoming phone calls from clients, brokers, and partners.
- Data Entry & Administration: Accurately enter load details, update tracking systems, and maintain digital paperwork/records.
- Problem Solving: Efficiently handle daily logistical hiccups or scheduling shifts with a calm, proactive attitude.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Self-Motivated / Self-Starter: You take initiative, see what needs to be done, and execute without constant supervision.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to build a positive rapport with drivers.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with data entry, multi-line phone systems, and basic computer software (experience with trucking/logistics software is a plus but not required).
- Highly Organized: Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask under pressure.
- Experience: Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, or a busy office setting is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person with the right attitude.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
