Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites to ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and building codes.
- Review construction drawings, schematics, and technical documents to interpret project requirements accurately.
- Monitor construction activities for compliance with safety regulations and construction regulations, promptly addressing any issues.
- Collect data through site observations, photographs, and detailed reports to document progress and quality standards.
- Perform quality control checks and quality inspections throughout various phases of construction projects.
- Analyze construction plans and specifications to verify proper implementation and identify potential deviations or issues.
- Collaborate with contractors, project managers, and regulatory agencies to facilitate smooth project execution and regulatory compliance.
Experience
- Proven experience in public works or civil infrastructure construction inspection roles.
- Strong knowledge of construction site safety regulations, building code analysis, and construction regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and construction plans effectively.
- Hands-on experience with construction management practices, including contract adherence and data collection methods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes.
- Familiarity with construction site experience across various types of public infrastructure projects such as pipelines or roads is highly desirable.
- Excellent analysis skills combined with attention to detail to ensure high-quality inspections and compliance at all times.
