Position Overview :

The Automotive Customer Service Representative is responsible for all billing related functions of the Service Department. The Automotive Customer Service Representative is responsible for properly invoicing service orders, collecting payment from the appropriate party, and ensuring that the customer’s needs and expectations have been completely met. As the last person the customer sees, Automotive Customer Service Representatives must have a positive attitude, an attention to detail, and a commitment to customer service. The Customer Service Representative will work 4-10 hour days and some Saturdays. Our hours are Monday-Friday 7:00am to 6:00pm and Saturdays 7:00am-3:00pm.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities (Essential Functions):
- Reconciles estimate with hard card labor report.
- Creates service orders based on hard card, accounting for parts & labor.
- Ensures correct labor codes are used on service orders.
- Processes 3rd party billing to service contracts, warranty, and other appropriate third parties.
- Tenders payment for customer paid service orders.
Education & Experience:
REQUIRED:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- High aptitude for problem solving
- Attention to detail
- Commitment to customer service
PREFERRED:
- _Customer service experience preferred
