Duties
- Provide attentive care to children, infants, and toddlers, supporting their physical, emotional, and developmental needs
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, bathing, dressing, and hygiene maintenance
- Implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development and early learning
- Support individuals with disabilities by assisting with mobility, medication reminders, and daily tasks
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to safety protocols and conducting regular safety checks
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, or team members regarding care plans and progress
- Document care activities accurately and report any concerns or incidents promptly
Skills
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education techniques
- Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying roles
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies to support positive behavior in children
- Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure safety during emergencies
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities and adapt care approaches accordingly
- Excellent teaching skills to engage children in educational activities and foster learning
- Compassionate attitude combined with patience, reliability, and strong communication skills
