Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our growing legal team. In this role, you will provide vital support across a broad spectrum of legal areas, civil litigation, landlord-tenant law, property law, immigration law and more. Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive legal research, drafting legal documents with precision, and assisting in case preparation. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case development and strategy.
- Draft clear, accurate legal documents including pleadings, contracts, memoranda, and correspondence aligned with case requirements.
- Assist attorney in preparing for hearings, trials, negotiations, and client meetings by organizing case files and evidence.
- Support various practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, landlord-tenant disputes, and litigation.
- Engage in client communication to gather information and provide updates on case progress.
- Maintain meticulous records of case activities and legal administrative tasks to ensure compliance with firm policies.
- Collaborate with team members on complex cases requiring detailed research and strategic planning.
Experience
- Prior experience working in a law office or legal environment is preferred but not mandatory; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrated proficiency with legal research platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to produce well-organized legal drafts and memoranda.
- Familiarity with legal procedures across multiple practice areas including litigation and property law a plus
- Experience in litigation support or courtroom preparation is a plus.
- Excellent research skills coupled with an ability to interpret complex legal information clearly and accurately.
- Legal administrative experience that ensures efficient management of case files and documentation.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
