Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer with over 10 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Angular, with a proven track record of delivering scalable, high-performance applications in Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and support RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures.
- Develop responsive front-end components using Angular.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture decisions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Ensure application security, quality, and compliance with organizational standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17 and Spring Boot.
- Extensive experience with Microservices Architecture.
- Strong experience developing REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Angular (v10 or higher preferred).
- Experience with Spring Data JPA and Hibernate.
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of Git version control.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, and Spring Security.
- Experience with Redis, Elasticsearch, or other distributed technologies.
- Exposure to monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, ELK, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Relevant Java or cloud certifications are a plus.
