Opportunity:
PCG’s Project Managers provide strategic leadership and consulting expertise to clients, focusing on business process transformation across various industries. This role is instrumental in centralizing and standardizing processes through design, training, and organizational role mapping.
The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end implementations of Infor CloudSuite CE, Infor LN On-Prem, or Infor CSI/Syteline solutions.
Location:
PCG employees can reside anywhere in the US. This is a remote role with some travel to the customer site when required.
Responsibilities:
- Represent the project to both business and IT leadership and take full accountability for project success. Learn and apply Infor Deployment Methodology and Implementation Accelerators to ensure consistent and successful delivery. Collaborate with the customer Project Manager to develop a detailed project plan and schedule. Closely manage project scope, cost, and schedule in alignment with business objectives, including working with the Customer PM. Act as the primary point of contact for all project communications with both internal and external stakeholders. Ensure proper planning, validity, and availability of all PCG resources to support the project. Provide weekly customer timesheet reports and other required documentation.
- Participate in Customer Steering Committee as required
- Maintain a clear understanding of project objectives and develop strategies to achieve them effectively.
- Identify and resolve conflicts among differing priorities and objectives of stakeholders. Establish and enforce scope control measures to prevent scope creep..
- Review and approve major deliverables, ensuring quality and alignment with project goals. Monitor project progress against the plan, ensuring alignment with agreed timelines and budgets..
- Ensure the Software Solution is deployment-ready according to the project schedule, escalating unresolved issues to the PCG project sponsor when necessary. Possesses a clear understanding of project business objectives and a well-defined strategy to achieve them. Facilitate tracking, escalation, and resolution of project issues, ensuring timely decision-making.
- Manage and report on the project budget, ensuring cost control and financial oversight. Clearly identifies issues and ensures their tracking, escalation, and resolution in a structured and efficient manner. Initiate and manage change control procedures, addressing out-of-scope requirements and budget/timeline variations. Ensure that significant project issues are escalated to the appropriate levels of Client and PCG management.
- Provide regular status updates and participate in project status and steering committee meetings
Qualifications:
- Strong background in business process change management and operational transformation is required.
- Proven experience managing ERP implementations, with knowledge of ERP solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to act as a trusted advisor and build strong relationships with stakeholders. Proven ability to managing upward among senior leadership
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, planning, and execution skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to business stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
