Job Title: Hospice RN
Assignment length : 6 weeks
Location: Grand Junction, CO
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with occasional back-up for weekends and on-call.
Pay rate: $57/hour
Job Summary:
Hospice Nurses are “teachers” – helping patients identify their own personal goals of care and helping caregivers have confidence in caring for their family member. They are generalists on all diseases and specialists in symptom management, requiring excellence in assessment and critical thinking.
Primary RN’s have an assigned caseload of patients and lead the interdisciplinary team caring for those patients. Our client provides care wherever the patients call home - private homes, nursing homes, group homes or assisted living facilities.
Job Requirements:
- At least 2 years of nursing experience.
- At least 1 year of Hospice experience.
- Must have active CO RN license
- BLS, preferably from AHA
