Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated On-Site Property Manager to lead the daily operations of a 20 unit residential community. 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom units are available for this position. Discounted rent is being offered, along with an hourly wage compensation towards rent. This energetic professional will serve as the point of contact for residents, vendors, and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment while maintaining the highest standards of property management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in real estate administration, property leasing, and customer service, with a passion for creating positive living experiences. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee property maintenance, enforce Fair Housing regulations, and drive leasing success through proactive engagement and effective conflict management.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of property operations, including leasing, resident relations, and maintenance to ensure smooth daily functioning.
- Oversee maintenance and repair issues
- monitor unit turnovers
- serve tenants with notices
- Conduct through unit inspections for move-in and move-out
- Clean the common areas on a weekly basis
- Collect rent payments
- Show vacant units
- Conduct regular property inspections to monitor property condition, coordinate repairs with maintenance staff, and ensure facilities management standards are met.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with familiarity in landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations.
- Proficiency in Appfolio software is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills paired with professional phone etiquette to effectively communicate with residents, vendors, and team members.
- Demonstrated ability to manage conflict situations diplomatically while maintaining a positive community environment.
- Experience in property leasing, facilities management, and general property maintenance coordination.
- Excellent computer skills
- Strong background in customer service, the ability to think on the spot/problem solve, and deal with high-stress situations
- High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary preferably with past property management company will be a plus
- Ability to accurately report, follow-up, and evaluate
- Applicant must be living on-site
