Local residency Portland, OR / Vancouver, WA area - REQUIRED
Our Vancouver-based Civil Engineering firm has immediate openings for a Civil Engineer/EIT with strong experience in major transit and transportation projects. Utility and roadway design experience is required; proficiency in CAD is a strong plus.
Compensation: Commensurate with skills and experience.
Work Location: In-office ONLY
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary design teams to develop plans that meet project requirements, codes, and industry standards.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from owners, project managers, and the design team.
- Execute roadway design and utility relocation/improvement plans.
- Utilize CAD software to produce accurate 2D and 3D designs (depending on experience).
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience with major transit and transportation projects.
- Experience working within multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
- Strong background in civil design, specifically focusing on roads and utilities.
- Experience coordinating directly with private utility providers.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in design development.
- Strong communication and coordination skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Pay: $65,170.64 - $78,485.08 per year
