The Facility Closing Attendant is responsible for ensuring the soccer facility is properly closed, secured, and ready for the next operating day. This role supports daily operations by completing end-of-day closing procedures, maintaining a clean and organized facility, serving refreshments, and ensuring the safety of players, families, and the building after evening activities.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently during evening hours.
Applicants must be 21 years of age or older due to facility closing responsibilities and the requirement to independently secure the building after operating hours.
Responsibilities
- Complete all facility closing procedures according to the closing checklist
- Ensure all players, families, and visitors have exited the facility before closing
- Secure all entrances, exits, and restricted areas
- Turn off lights, equipment, and facility systems as required
- Arm security system and confirm the building is properly locked
- Serve refreshments, snacks, and beverages to guests while providing friendly customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the refreshment area
- Handle basic transactions and point-of-sale responsibilities, if applicable
- Perform light cleaning duties, including:
- Emptying trash
- Cleaning common areas
- Checking restrooms
- Organizing lobby and playing areas
- Restock supplies, refreshments, and facility materials as needed
- Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or facility damage to management
- Ensure the facility is presentable and ready for the next business day
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Assist with other basic facility tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Reliable and dependable with strong attendance
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow closing procedures
- Friendly and professional customer service skills
- Comfortable interacting with players, families, and guests
- Comfortable working evening hours
- Ability to complete physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Prior customer service, food service, facility, recreation, or hospitality experience preferred but not required
Schedule
- Part-time evening position
- Primarily closing shifts after soccer activities and events
- Schedule may include evenings and weekends

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
