Position: Clinical Nurse Manager – Family Planning, Adult Health & STI Programs Pay: $73,083.60/year

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, confident and decisive Clinical Nurse Manager and Registered Nurse leader to oversee the Family Planning, Adult Health, and STI programs at Tulsa Health Department. This position will mentor a team of nurse practitioners and nursing staff. and provide strong clinical oversight while maintaining a hands-on leadership approach that keeps them connected to day-to-day operations and patient outcomes. This role combines clinical expertise with program management, staff development, and community collaboration. You’ll guide a skilled team to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care, and help shape the future of preventive health services in Tulsa.

What You’ll Do
- Manage program operations, budgets, and grant deliverables for Family Planning, Adult Health, and STI programs.
- Supervise and support nurses, APRNs, and clinical staff as a Clinical Nurse Manager.
- Ensure compliance with protocols, policies, and state/federal guidelines across all programs.
- Provide clinical care, screenings, and referrals to clients in Family Planning, Adult Health, and STI programs.
- Oversee supplies, equipment, and quality assurance processes.
- Collaborate with physicians, labs, and community partners to deliver comprehensive care.
- Mentor staff and contribute to strategic planning for public health programs.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s in Nursing or Public Health preferred. APRN strongly preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years as an RN, with 1–2 years in a supervisory or public/community health leadership role, ideally in Family Planning, Adult Health, or STI programs.
- Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills; ability to adapt, coach, and think strategically as a Clinical Nurse Manager.
Licensure: Current RN license in Oklahoma (or eNLC compact license).

- Must maintain confidentiality per HIPAA standards
- Prolonged stationary periods of sitting, and or standing
- Occasional travel within Tulsa County
