We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Housekeeping / Utilities Aide to join our skilled nursing facility team. In this role, you will help provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, offices, and restrooms.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and empty trash throughout the facility.
Strip, wax, and maintain floors to ensure a clean and polished appearance.
Operate and maintain housekeeping and janitorial equipment safely.
Replenish cleaning supplies and notify management when inventory is low.
Follow infection control procedures and safety guidelines at all times.
Assist with utility and housekeeping projects as assigned.
Work collaboratively with all departments to maintain a clean, comfortable environment for residents.
Must know how to strip and wax floors.
Must be flexible and willing to assist with a variety of assigned housekeeping and utility tasks.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
Experience handling and operating janitorial equipment.
Previous housekeeping, environmental services, or utility experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred but not required.
