Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers the chance to positively impact young learners as an onsite Special Education Teacher, working M-F with 35 hours per week at either Lino Lakes Elementary or Columbus Elementary. Preferred caseloads include Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD), and Emotional Behavioral Disorders (EBD). Please indicate your area of preference when applying, so your expertise is matched to the best assignment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid and current Minnesota Special Education Teaching certification (must be attached with application)
- Previous experience with elementary-aged special education caseloads preferred
- Strong knowledge of instructional strategies for ASD, DCD, or EBD
- Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, related service staff, and families
- Excellent organization, documentation, and communication skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and support to assigned elementary students
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Provide a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues and families to promote student progress
- Assess and document student growth, adapting instruction as needed
