Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics on vehicles using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems effectively.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and brake inspections to ensure optimal performance.
- Repair or replace powertrain components, vehicle suspension systems, transmissions, and diesel engines as needed.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other automotive repair tools safely and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicles meet safety standards before returning to customers.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair.
- Solid mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical wiring diagrams interpretation, and suspension system repair.
- Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics software and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with ADAS technology, vehicle alignment procedures, and vehicle transmission system repair.
- Experience working with European and diesel vehicles is a plus but not required.
