Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Low Voltage Security Foreman to lead installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security systems within commercial and industrial environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee complex low voltage security projects, ensuring high standards of safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise installation, repair, and maintenance of low voltage security systems including CCTV, sensors, alarms, fire alarms, access control, and surveillance equipment.
- Oversee the interpretation of schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to ensure precise system design and implementation.
- Coordinate field service activities involving cabling, power tools, hand tools, and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards to meet project specifications.
- Manage remote access software configurations for security system monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Conduct system testing using IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), sensors, CCTV cameras, and other surveillance devices to verify operational integrity.
- Collaborate with clients on alarm system sales, system upgrades, and tailored security solutions aligned with their needs.
- Ensure all work complies with electrical experience standards, construction safety protocols, and local regulations while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician or foreman in low voltage security systems or related electrical fields.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with expertise in computer networking, telecommunication systems, and system design principles.
- Familiarity with security system components such as CCTV cameras, sensors, fire alarms, access controls, and alarm panels.
- Proficiency in schematics reading, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting using hand tools and power tools.
- Knowledge of NEC standards related to low voltage wiring and electrical safety practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while leading a team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients and team members on system requirements and technical issues.
