About Empowered Minds Therapy
Empowered Minds Therapy is an occupational therapist-owned and operated practice built around two core values: passionate, high-quality care and a healthy work-life balance for our clinicians. We are a growing, community-based therapy practice providing individualized and meaningful services to children, adolescents, and young adults throughout New Hampshire.

The Opportunity
We are looking for a compassionate, creative, and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our growing team.
This position is ideal for a clinician who enjoys thinking outside of the traditional clinic model and wants the flexibility to provide functional, client-centered therapy within natural environments.
Depending on experience, availability, and interests, opportunities may include:
- In-home occupational therapy
- Community-based treatment sessions
- School and educational program collaboration
- Social and small-group programming
- Nature- and outdoor-based therapy
- Farm-based therapeutic programming
- Parent/caregiver education and coaching
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary providers and community organizations
Responsibilities
The OT/OTA will provide individualized occupational therapy services based on each client’s goals, needs, and plan of care. Responsibilities may include:
- Providing skilled occupational therapy interventions in home and community environments
- Addressing areas such as sensory processing and regulation, emotional regulation, executive functioning, fine and gross motor development, ADLs, social participation, self-advocacy, and functional independence
- Developing engaging, functional, and meaningful therapeutic activities
- Completing timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Communicating and collaborating with families, caregivers, schools, and other members of the client’s care team
- Supporting caregiver education and carryover of therapeutic strategies
- Maintaining professional, ethical, and client-centered standards of care
OTs may also complete evaluations, develop plans of care, establish goals, and provide appropriate supervision when applicable.
OTAs will provide services under appropriate OT supervision and in accordance with state regulations, payer requirements, and company policies.
Qualifications
Required:
- Current or eligible New Hampshire OT or OTA license
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy or Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current NBCOT certification, as applicable
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to community-based treatment locations
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Passion for providing individualized, relationship-based care
Preferred:
- Pediatric experience
- Experience working with neurodivergent children and adolescents
- Knowledge of sensory processing, emotional regulation, executive functioning, and ADL interventions
- Experience with Autism, ADHD, anxiety, developmental disabilities, or other neurodevelopmental differences
- Interest in community-, nature-, or farm-based therapy

Schedule
Scheduling is flexible and may be developed around clinician availability and current client needs. After-school and afternoon availability is especially valuable.
This position involves travel to client homes and community-based locations, so applicants should be comfortable working independently in a mobile therapy model.
