Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items with precision, consistency, and attention to detail, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards.
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Support food preparation activities, including chopping, marinating, portioning, and plating.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts to uphold hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal service efficiently during busy hours.
- Ensure all food is stored properly and inventory levels are managed effectively to minimize waste.
Experience
- Previous 2 years kitchen experience in a restaurant or food service setting is required.
- Experience working in fine dining environments is a plus, demonstrating attention to detail and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience can be advantageous.
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques are essential.
- Familiarity with catering services and meal preparation processes enhances your suitability for this role.
- A solid understanding of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures is required.
