Job Summary

Duties
- Cultivate new client relationships through proactive outreach, networking, and targeted marketing initiatives.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from initial inquiry to contract signing, including negotiations and upselling opportunities.
- Develop tailored proposals and menus that meet client needs while maximizing revenue potential.
- Coordinate with event planning teams to ensure flawless execution of catering events, including banquet setups and special occasions.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote event services through digital campaigns, social media, and community outreach.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, contracts, budgets, and event specifications using CRM systems.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor offerings to identify new business opportunities and enhance service offerings.
Requirements
- Proven experience in catering sales, event management, or hospitality sales within hotels, restaurants, or similar venues.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing high-value contracts.
- Excellent marketing acumen with the ability to develop compelling promotional strategies.
- Demonstrated upselling skills to increase revenue per event.
- Knowledge of event marketing, planning, budgeting, and contracts management.
- Exceptional customer service orientation with outstanding communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in banquet operations or hotel/event venue settings is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines. - Salary range $62-$68k yearly
