Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Aide to join our day shift team. As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play a crucial role in assisting our physical therapist with patient care and rehabilitation. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others and have an interest in learning more about the physical therapy profession. The ideal candidate will have experience in outpatient care settings and with an interest in the health care field.
Day/Times required: Tuesday & Thursdays, Day time shift.
Duties:
- Provide support to physical therapist in the delivery of patient care.
- Assist with patient assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation.
- Help with patient transfers and ambulation.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress.
- Assist with equipment maintenance and cleaning.
- Perform tasks that may be assigned by the physical therapy team, such as setting up treatment areas or preparing materials for therapy sessions.
- Provide patient education and support to promote independence and self-care.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
