American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring 2+ years of Med/Surg experience and ACLS certification.

Acute care setting on a 39-bed Med Surg unit with 24 MS/tele beds
-
acutely cardiac patients
-
Patient population includes non-acutely cardiac cases such as pacemaker management, cardiac monitoring, and potassium level management
-
Patient ratio of 1:6

Uses MEDITECH EMR and McKesson medication system
-
Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts, 7p-7a, including some weekends
-
36 hours per week
-
May float to other Medsurg units within scope of practice, with priority given as first to float

Active RN license (MO or Compact) required

Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
-
Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required

Basic telemetry experience beneficial but not required

MEDITECH charting experience highly preferred

Provide Med/Surg nursing care including monitoring, medication administration, and management of pacemaker and potassium-related conditions

Royal blue scrubs required, not provided by facility
-
Facility may cancel up to 1 shift per 4-week period
