Travelling Butler – HNW Principal – New York Based
An HNW Principal is seeking an experienced and highly adaptable Travelling Butler to provide dedicated support across multiple locations and extensive summer travel.
Candidates must be New York based or already established within the NYC area and hold either a US Passport or valid Green Card.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role suited to someone with previous experience supporting UHNW individuals within private households, yachts, or luxury hospitality environments. The ideal candidate will be polished, discreet, service-driven, and able to adapt seamlessly between formal and informal settings.
- Travelling ahead of the Principal to ensure residences are fully prepared to standard
- Providing formal and informal Butler service depending on the environment and occasion
- Table setting, silver service, and wine service
- Wardrobe care, packing and unpacking
- Managing household presentation and guest readiness
- Liaising with household staff, vendors, chefs, drivers, and security teams
- Assisting with entertaining and hosting
- Coordinating day-to-day household requirements whilst travelling
- Ensuring the Principal’s preferences and routines are consistently maintained
- Providing hands-on support during travel periods and summer stays
- Previous Butler experience within UHNW households or yachts
- Excellent service standards with strong attention to detail
- Experience with formal dining service and luxury hospitality
- A calm, polished, and highly professional approach
- Flexibility to travel extensively over the summer
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- The ability to operate with complete discretion and professionalism
- A proactive, adaptable mindset with a hands-on attitude
