Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Spanish-speaking Baker to join our team in our wholesale bread baking operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bread and roll baking, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality baked goods. This role involves ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are met. Pay is negotiable depending on experience. Spanish speaking / bilingual is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a wide range of baked bread and roll goods
- Follow baking standards accurately to ensure consistency in presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area, adhering to food and safety regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Baker in wholesale operation is preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional baking experience, preferably in bread and rolls
- Strong understanding of baking processes, including proofing, fermentation and lamination (preferred but not required).
- Ability to manage time effectively in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment of quality.
- Flexibility to work on night shift, weekends and holidays as needed.
- A team-oriented mindset and willingness to take direction.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, able to work in a hot environment and perform repetitive tasks.
- Speak and understand Spanish preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
