Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented 2nd Shift Shipping Lead to join our fast-paced aluminum manufacturing company located in Corona, CA.
Responsibilities
· Learn all shipping paperwork.
· Work with Epics and scan ticket
· Ensure toolboxes are completed twice weekly.
· Ensure that all forklift drivers are completing the forklift checklist daily at the beginning of each shift.
· Responsible for knowing all aspects of housekeeping.
· Makes sure the crew is maintaining housekeeping daily
· Needs to know how to operate all shipping machinery
· Coordinating inbound/outbound deliveries
· Checking samples of materials and inventory
· Scheduling dross pickups
· Responsible for training new hires or scheduling training with qualified employees to train new hires
· Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Strong background in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management, and logistics coordination
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or team management within a distribution or e-commerce environment
- Mechanical knowledge related to materials handling equipment such as forklifts; forklift certification preferred
- Excellent understanding of OSHA safety standards and best practices for heavy lifting and materials handling
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of warehouse experience and safety compliance
- Familiarity with AS400 systems for inventory control and shipping documentation
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in shipping & receiving processes and inventory accuracy
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has supervisory responsibilities over shipping and receiving employees which include approximately 7
employees
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The

1. Knowledge of Aluminum Extrusion industry, processes and end users
2. Maintains a clean and well organized work area
3. Show consistent on time attendance
4. Follow up on status of orders, die problems, due dates, changes etc
5. Demonstrates positive leadership traits at all times
6. Posses strong verbal and communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels
7. Responsible to communicate the unusual or out of norm situations to upper management
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months or greater related experience and/or
training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend advanced instructions and present information in one on one or large group situations. Ability to interpret documents such as sales orders, quality objectives and safety requirements.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and
decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret bar graphs.
Computer Skills:
Ability to perform advanced computer operations specific to in-house production software (EPICS). Proficient in
Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
