Production Shift Supervisor – HDPE Pipe Manufacturing
We are seeking an experienced Production Shift Supervisor to oversee daily production operations in our HDPE pipe manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of manufacturing experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role, with hands-on experience producing HDPE pipe.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise up to 20 production employees and provide leadership during assigned shifts.
- Support the Production Manager in meeting production, quality, and safety goals.
- Train leads and line operators on equipment, processes, and best practices.
- Monitor production, troubleshoot equipment and process issues, and minimize scrap.
- Ensure equipment, tooling, and materials are ready for production.
- Approve time entries, PTO requests, and coordinate shift coverage.
- Maintain accurate production documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
- Assist with scheduling, special projects, and provide backup support for the Production Manager as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Required experience with HDPE pipe extrusion.
- Strong leadership, communication, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
There is $1.50 shift differential for night shift.
Hours for the position are 8p-8a on a 2-2-3 schedule.
Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
