We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Infant and Toddler Caregiver to join our team at a home daycare and preschool. Our center provides care for children ranging from 6 months to 5 years old, and we are seeking someone who is comfortable working mainly with the 6 months - 18 months age group, and sometimes working with the 18 months - 2.5 years age group, and that has a strong passion for working with young children.
Responsibilities: Provide personal care for infants and toddlers, including diapering, snack and lunchtime, and nap time. Remain engaging with singing, dancing, and reading, and assist children in reaching their developmental milestones at each stage. Maintain open and positive communication with the parents of toddlers and colleagues. Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all children at all times.
Qualifications: Prior experience working with infants is a must. Education in child development or a related field is a plus. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with families, staff, and other stakeholders. Ability to create a supportive and educational environment for toddlers. Passion for working with young children and a commitment to their growth and development.
