Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Service Operations Manager based in Phoenix, AZ. Wang Electric Systems is seeking a highly organized, customer-focused, and growth-minded professional to lead and help expand our Service Department. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of our service operations, learn our systems, improve customer experience, and help build the service division. Experience as an electrician is not required. We are looking for an individual who understands operations and customer service, is highly organized, and excels at relationship building. As the department grows, this role will evolve into a position focused on business development, customer retention, and strategic growth.
What You'll Do:
Operations
- Learn and become highly proficient in the WorkIz service management platform
- Manage incoming service calls, online requests, and customer inquiries
- Coordinate scheduling and dispatching of service technicians
- Create and manage work orders and service workflows
- Oversee invoicing, billing, and customer follow-up
- Track service department performance and key metrics
- Help improve department systems, processes, and efficiency
Business Development & Growth
- Expand service call volume
- Develop recurring maintenance agreements
- Strengthen customer relationships
- Identify new service opportunities
- Support growth initiatives and strategic planning
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years in service operations, dispatching, construction administration, customer account management, or related fields
- Experience in construction, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, restoration, or other service-based industries is a plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience using service management software, CRM systems, or scheduling platforms
- Ability to work independently and solve problems proactively
Compensation & Growth Opportunity
This position offers a competitive base salary, commensurate with experience, plus a performance-based bonus program tied directly to growth and profitability.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
