Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to pick, pack, load, and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to track stock levels and order statuses
- Prepare orders for shipment through accurate picking & packing, ensuring all items meet quality standards
- Conduct shipping & receiving activities, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation
- Stock shelves and storage areas systematically to optimize space and facilitate quick access for order picking
- Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock records
- Support warehouse distribution tasks by loading trucks and organizing goods for timely dispatch
Experience
- Prior warehouse experience is highly preferred; familiarity with warehouse distribution processes is a plus
- Hands-on experience with forklift operation, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners is desirable
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, or MRP software enhances efficiency in order fulfillment
- Basic math skills are essential for counting inventory accurately and processing shipments
- Experience with shipping & receiving procedures and order picking/packing is advantageous
- Ability to work safely with equipment such as load & unload machinery while adhering to safety protocols
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking, order fulfillment, and inventory management
