Job Overview:
- We are seeking an Entry Level Sheet Metal Laborer. This position would be ideal for someone with general knowledge of the industry but needs the experience to build their skills and potential.
Duties:
- Installing sheet metal ductwork, locating curbs and general shop work.
- Must be able to climb, carry ladders, push, pull carry or maneuver heavier items. This is a physically demanding position at times, requiring repeated lifting, pushing and pulling of up to 50 pounds, so please consider these physical expectations prior to applying.
Requirements:
- Maintain accurate time records
- Work as part of a team and be able to work well with co-workers, customers and other trades
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check
- Knowledge of mechanical systems
- Must be able to accurately read a tape measure
- Must have own transportation
- Potential to stay overnight for jobs depending on location
Additional job information:
- Hiring for 20-30 hours a week, bi-weekly pay. A typical workday will be 10 hours.
- No insurance is currently offered. Vacation and time off will be discussed during the interviewing process.
- Supplemental Aflac coverage is offered after probation period
- We offer a quarterly bonus program based off sales goals.
- Pay is based off of experience.
