Position Summary
We are seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Childcare Team Member to join our growing team. The ideal candidate loves working with children, understands the importance of positive behavior guidance, and is committed to helping children learn through play, exploration, and meaningful interactions.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities
- Support daily routines, including meals, naps, and transitions
- Foster emotional regulation, independence, and positive social skills
- Assist with educational activities, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and enrichment programs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
- Follow licensing regulations, health and safety procedures, and program policies
- Communicate professionally with families and team members
- Assist with meal preparation and light cleaning duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children preferred
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
- Ability to pass required background checks
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Positive attitude, patience, and strong communication skills
