FOH Management Chez Sami French Restaurant
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Front of House (FOH) Manager to join our team at Chez Sami French Restaurant. As the FOH Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the customer experience, including greeting guests, managing reservations, supervising servers, and ensuring high-quality service standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise FOH staff, including servers and hosts
- Train and develop FOH staff to deliver exceptional customer service and adhere to restaurant policies and procedures
- Create and manage schedules for FOH staff to ensure adequate coverage during all shifts
- Monitor and manage inventory levels for FOH supplies, including glassware, flatware, and linens
- Assist with menu development and pricing strategies
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to ensure maximum efficiency and guest satisfaction
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organized FOH area to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for guests
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless communication and coordination between FOH and BOH operations
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a FOH Manager in a fine dining restaurant environment
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in POS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of French cuisine and wine is a plus
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
